Jenna Palazzolo, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. Palazzolo joined LA Hearing in September 2016. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Maine in 2011 and continued on to received her Doctorate degree from Central Michigan University in 2015. Dr. Palazzolo moved back to Maine following graduation and has loved being back home on the East Coast!

She has a passion for helping those around her, especially those struggling with hearing loss. She specializes in fitting, repairing, and adjusting all makes and models of hearing aids and loves diagnostic testing for pediatrics and adults.

Dr. Palazzolo resides in Androscoggin county with her husband and growing family! She enjoys visiting family in Michigan and outside of work, Dr. Palazzolo spends time singing, crocheting, and teaching others about natural health solutions through use of essential oils.

Brittany Vlosich, LA Hearing Center

Brittany Vlosich, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA

Dr. Vlosich joined LA Hearing Center in May of 2020. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Communication Disorders in 2014 from the University of Washington and her Doctor of Audiology Degree from the Joint Doctoral program between San Diego State University and the University of California, San Diego in 2019. She worked at a Children’s Hospital in San Diego prior to moving to Maine with her partner while he pursues his doctorate in physical therapy. 

She has experience working with different hearing solutions including communication techniques, assistive listening devices, traditional hearing aids, bone conduction hearing aids and cochlear implants and she enjoys working with patients of all ages to find hearing solutions that fit their needs and lifestyle best.


 

Ayris Franklin LA Hearing Center

Ayris Franklin, Au.D.

Dr. Franklin joined LA Hearing Center in June of 2020. She received her Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2015 from Wichita State University. Then she went on to earn her Doctor of Audiology Degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in her hometown of New Orleans. She is a passionate professional who works with all ages. She is able to tailor different hearing devices (traditional hearing aids and bone conducted amplification) to her patients’ unique hearing needs and is willing to provide other tools for her patients to communicate effectively.

Michelle Pillsbury

Michelle joined LA Hearing Center in 2017 as the practice receptionist. Michelle assists patients from the very first time they are in touch with our practice, and then throughout their hearing healthcare journey. A kind and friendly presence, she looks forward to welcoming you to our practice. Michelle has have lived in Lewiston for 10 years and loves it! She has 2 cats and a dog. Always up for a visit to the ocean, she especially enjoys the outdoors during our glorious Maine fall.


 

Hillary Dow, MBA Practice Manager

Hillary joined LA Hearing Center in January 2020 as the practice manager. Hillary brings extensive marketing and business experience to the practice, having also worked in several healthcare settings. Prior to joining the staff, Hillary was a member of the agency’s board of directors for twelve years, including serving as board president and chair of the marketing and PR committee. With a head for business and a deep love for the organization, she is thrilled to now be part of the leadership team. Hillary and her husband, Adam, are proud parents of two young children (including a 2020 Sandcastle graduate). When she’s not here at the practice, she is paddling, needle felting, cooking, and authoring & illustrating children’s books!

 

When is it time to seek professional help?
